Accounts Payable Accountant

Position Overview:

This position is responsible to oversee the day-to-day general accounting function. Develops, refines, and monitors all general ledger activities and system interfaces to the ERP to ensure correct accounting transactions are captured in a timely manner and in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS. Key Accountabilities:

Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Prepare financial reports.
• Passing monthly accruals.
• Prepare required journal entries in system.
• Prepare reports requested by auditors.

Accounts Payable

• Verify and post payable invoices in system.
• Managing the Payable Team invoice booking and payments.
• Monthly preparing AP list and ageing.
• Matching supplier SOA with supplier GL on a regular basis.

Taxation & Compliance

• Quarterly preparing VAT report.

Employee Expenses

• Employee expenses auditing and validating.

Inventory & Fixed Assets

• Managing inventory and fixed asset register and tagging.
• Arrange periodical inventory count and reconcile with system.

Education & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field, is required

Experience

• Minimum of two years’ accounting experience at a supervisory level is required
