Junior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and perform data entry tasks to support the accounting department.

• Record daily financial transactions in accounting software
• Perform accurate data entry of invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts
• Prepare and process invoices and expense reports
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Organize and maintain financial documents and records
• Support audits by providing required documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internship experience acceptable)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Xero, or similar)
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Good organizational and time-management skills
