Junior Accountant – Avid Marine L.L.C (Dubai) About the Role
Avid Marine L.L.C, a leading supplier of marine spare parts and technical services in Dubai, is seeking a Junior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and support financial documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to grow in a structured and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities- Record daily sales, purchase, and expense transactions in accounting software.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare and organize invoices, receipts, and payment documents.
- Coordinate with external accounting/audit teams for VAT and financial submissions.
- Follow up with customers regarding pending invoices and payments.
- Assist with basic financial reports and reconciliations.
- Support the management team with any ad hoc administrative or accounting tasks.
Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
0–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (fresh graduates welcome).
Familiarity with Tally
, SAP
, or similar accounting systems is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a small office environment.
