Senior Internal Auditor | Emirati Talent

The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for executing internal audit activities as per the internal audit plan and drafting audit reports as per the required standards.

• Maintain positive relationships with audit clients and elevate issues to internal audit management.
• Participate in internal audit initiatives and contribute to advisory projects within the department.
• Execute audit work according to methodology and budgets, while using data analysis tools and documenting results in audit work papers.
• Monitor progress of management action plans by following up with management on outstanding items.
• Identify and assess key risks and controls during audit projects, reporting on the effectiveness of internal controls and assisting with process reviews.
• Ensure compliance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures, while seeking professional development opportunities and applying relevant corporate policies.

• Hold a relevant Bachelor's degree and be working towards or have partial certification in a related audit discipline.
• Have at least 3 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrate strong skills in quality focus, planning, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects, along with strong analytical, research, and communication abilities.
• Possess good interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure, and function independently or as part of a team.
