Junior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team with daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in reporting.

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Handle petty cash transactions and maintain records
• Assist in bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
• Coordinate with internal teams for accounting-related matters
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (freshers with strong knowledge can also apply)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, Quick Books, or ERP systems)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience in handling VAT filings (UAE VAT knowledge is an advantage)
• Exposure to inventory accounting or project costing
• Basic understanding of financial reporting
