Senior Accountant Executive

About The Role

Maintain full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.

• Maintain full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with HKFRS and internal reporting timelines.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and various management reports for senior management.
• Handle Hong Kong profits tax computations and assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) in coordination with tax advisors where required.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue, expenses, accruals and provisions on an accrual basis of accounting.
• Support annual statutory audit, including preparation of audit schedules and liaison with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong company accounting and tax regulations and internal control procedures.
• Assist with payroll-related accounting entries and employee reimbursement processing as applicable.
• Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements and documentation of accounting procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce (BCom) or equivalent, with a focus on accounting/finance.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience in Hong Kong, preferably in corporate or Trading SME environments.
