Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets, providing insights to management for informed decision‑making.
- Conduct month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation, adhering to deadlines.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, providing a solid foundation in accounting principles.
- Holds a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting, demonstrating practical application of accounting knowledge.
- Demonstrates proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel, facilitating efficient data management.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), ensuring accurate financial reporting.
