Accountant _ Law Firm

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle client trust accounts in compliance with legal accounting standards.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with audits.
• Coordinate with legal teams regarding billing, invoicing, and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls.
• UAE VAT filing with 100% accuracy.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably within a legal or professional services firm.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and trust accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Quick Books or similar.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with legal billing systems.
• Familiarity with local financial regulations and compliance requirements.
