Factory Accountant; Plastic Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of factory costing including material, labor, and overhead costs ensuring accurate product costing.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements specifically for the factory, highlighting key performance indicators and variances.
• Conduct thorough inventory management, including physical counts, valuation, and reconciliation to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
• Develop and maintain the factory’s budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful financial projections for operational planning.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements, implementing strategies to enhance profitability.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of UAE experience in factory accounting or cost accounting within a plastic manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and their application in a factory setting.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various departments and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
