Sr. Accountant

Responsibilities

Manage the full accounting cycle for multiple subsidiary entities ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards Monitor review and reconcile intercompany transactions purchase orders sales orders and related balances across all subsidiary companies Oversee monthly quarterly and annual financial closing activities for subsidiary accounts ensuring timely preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports Prepare and review journal entries account reconciliations accruals and adjustments while maintaining the integrity of subsidiary general ledgers Perform detailed analysis of subsidiary financial performance including variance analysis profitability reporting and identification of operational and financial trends Maintain and reconcile key balance sheet accounts including cash accounts receivable accounts payable inventory fixed assets and intercompany accounts Ensure accurate consolidation and reporting of subsidiary financial results to group management and support group reporting requirements Collaborate closely with operations procurement sales and warehouse teams to ensure proper recording and reconciliation of inventory purchasing and distribution-related transactions Support budgeting forecasting and cash flow management processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis for subsidiary entities Review and strengthen accounting processes internal controls and financial procedures to improve efficiency accuracy and compliance across subsidiary operations Assist with external audits tax filings statutory reporting and regulatory compliance requirements for subsidiary companies Utilize ERP systems and accounting software to maintain accurate financial records generate management reports and support business decision-making.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or an equivalent certification is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage. Minimum 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including significant exposure to financial reporting, general ledger management, subsidiary accounting, and month‑end/year‑end close processes.

Proven experience managing the accounts of multiple entities or subsidiaries within a group structure, including intercompany reconciliations and consolidated reporting. Prior experience in distribution, trading, FMCG, manufacturing, or other inventory‑intensive industries is strongly preferred.
