Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant with experience in the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and general ledger
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Record rental income, service charges, and property-related expenses
- Manage tenant accounts, invoicing, and payment follow-ups
- Reconcile lease agreements and property statements
- Coordinate with property management teams regarding financial matters
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT filings
- Assist in internal and external audits
- Monitor cash flow and budget tracking
- Maintain proper documentation for regulatory and management review
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Quick Books, SAP, or similar)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
