Accountant, Financial Reporting, Tax Accountant

Motif Interiors UAE is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team. Preference will be given to candidates who are available for immediate joining and possess relevant experience within the furniture, manufacturing, or interior fit‑out sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple accounting functions efficiently.

The ideal applicant should be confident in financial reporting, reconciliations, VAT compliance, and cost monitoring while working independently to meet reporting deadlines and support the organization's financial objectives.

• Maintain and manage daily accounting transactions and financial documentation.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and management reports for internal review.
• Monitor company budgets, operational expenses, and cash flow activities.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations.
• Perform month‑end closing activities and ensure financial accuracy.
• Ensure timely VAT submissions and compliance with UAE regulations.
• Assist with internal audits and coordinate with external auditors when required.
• Support financial planning and cost‑control initiatives.

• Previous accounting experience within the furniture, manufacturing, or interior fit‑out industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience managing payables, receivables, reconciliations, and month‑end processes.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage deadlines.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance procedures.
