Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review and strategic decision‑making.
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and tax regulations.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and manage petty cash, maintaining meticulous records of all financial transactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is highly preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in the UAE, preferably within the retail or service industry
- Proficiency in UAE VAT laws and their practical application in accounting
