Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our esteemed team in the Hospital & Health Care industry. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing, organizing, and overseeing the documentation processes within our facility, ensuring that all records are handled in compliance with regulations and industry standards. Your expertise in document control will contribute to the efficient operation of our health care services, facilitating the accessibility and integrity of critical information.
Responsibilities- Receive, review, and register incoming documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update document control databases, filing systems, and tracking logs.
- Coordinate the distribution of documents to relevant departments and personnel.
- Manage document revisions and ensure obsolete documents are properly archived or disposed of.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure document compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing document control procedures and best practices.
- Train staff on document control processes when necessary.
- Proven experience as a Document Controller, preferably within the healthcare or hospital industry.
- Strong knowledge of document management systems and electronic filing.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and document control software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or training in document control or healthcare administration are a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in document control or related administrative roles.
- Experience in the Hospital & Health Care sector is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of ISO standards or healthcare accreditation processes is an advantage.
