We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Operations Support Executive to support our sales and operations team in the trading of cement, steel, and other construction materials. The role involves preparing quotations, coordinating shipments, handling documentation, supporting collections, and assisting in sourcing and business development activities. The ideal candidate must be proactive, organized, and capable of troubleshooting operational issues efficiently.
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES Sales & Commercial Support
- Prepareandissuequotations,offers,andsales-related documents.
- Followupwithcustomersonquotations,confirmations,andorders.
- Supportthesalesteaminday-to-daycommercialactivities.
- Followuponpayments,collections,andoutstandingreceivableswithcustomers.
- Coordinatewithinternalfinanceandoperationsteamstoensuretimelycollections.
- Maintainaccuraterecordsofpaymentstatus.
- Prepareandprovideallrequiredshippingandcommercialdocumentsforshipmentsarrivingatport,includingbutnotlimitedto:
- Invoice
- Packing List
- Billof Lading
- Certificate of Origin
- Test Reports/Quality Certificates(if applicable)
- Coordinatewithfreightforwarders,shippinglines,portagents,and customers.
- Trackshipmentsandproactivelyresolveanyoperationalordocumentationissues.
- Arrangeinternalandexternalmeetings,includingsendingmeetinginvitationsandpreparingagendaswhenrequired.
- Maintainproperfollow-upandactionpointsaftermeetings.
- Conduct market research to identify:
- Newsuppliersandsources
- Newproductsandopportunitiesrelatedtoconstructionmaterials
- Supportproductandsupplierdevelopmentinitiatives.
- Arrangethedispatchofsamplestocustomersorconsultants.
- Coordinatewithsuppliersandlogisticsteamsforsamplepreparationanddelivery.
- Proactivelyidentifyandresolveoperational,documentation,andcoordinationissues.
- Supporttheteaminhandlingurgentorunexpectedsituationsefficiently.
- Experienceintrading,construction materials,cement,steel,orcommoditiesispreferred.
- Strongorganizationalandmultitaskingskills.
- Excellentcommunicationskills(writtenandverbal).
- Abilitytoworkunderpressureandmeetdeadlines.
- Highly motivated,proactive,andsolutionoriented.
- Strongfollow-upandcoordinationabilities.
- Proficient in
MSOffice(Excel,Word,Outlook). - Abilitytoworkwithinateamandfollowreportinglines.
- Detail-orientedandwellorganized
- Strongsenseofownershipandresponsibility
- Abletohandletroubleshootingandoperationalchallengesindependently
- Team player with a positive attitude
