Canadian University Dubai seeks a detail-oriented and service-focused Admissions and Registration Officer to support the effective management of undergraduate and postgraduate admissions and registration processes. The role plays a key part in ensuring a seamless transition from applicant to enrolled student, while maintaining full compliance with institutional policies and external regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Admissions Operations- Process and review undergraduate and postgraduate applications in accordance with approved admission criteria, institutional policies, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Verify academic credentials, eligibility documentation, and supporting records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Prepare admission files and support the Admissions Manager with case escalation and committee submissions, as required.
- Communicate professionally with applicants regarding application status, missing documentation, and admission conditions.
- Support student registration activities, including course registration, enrolment confirmation, and status updates in accordance with academic calendars and institutional regulations.
- Coordinate with Academic Departments and Registration teams to ensure accurate course allocation and enrolment records.
- Assist in resolving registration-related queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all admissions and registration decisions and related documentation comply with MOHESR and CAA regulations.
- Remain informed of updates to admission and registration-related regulations and elevate relevant changes to the Admissions Manager, as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant and student records within the Student Information System.
- Support the preparation of admissions and registration reports, including applications received, offers issued, enrolments, and retention data.
- Coordinate closely with Registration, Student Accounts, Marketing, and Academic Departments to ensure effective information flow and a smooth student lifecycle experience.
- Provide clear, accurate, and professional guidance to applicants, students, and parents throughout the admissions and registration process.
- Participate in enrolment activities, open days, orientation sessions, and recruitment events, as required.
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution is required.
- A minimum of two to four years of experience in university admissions, registration, or higher education administration is required, with UAE experience preferred.
- Practical knowledge of MOHESR and CAA admission and registration frameworks and UAE secondary education systems is required.
- Experience using Student Information Systems and CRM platforms is considered an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated capability in document verification and data accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with Arabic language skills considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work accurately under deadlines in a fast-paced academic environment.
