To assist the Document Controller with recording the flow of all financial documents that are sent and/ or received by Finance Shared Services (FSS) team in the financial ledgers
ResponsibilitiesFunctional Roles and Responsibilities
- Support with receiving all documents for processing financial transactions
- Ensure all documents that are received are checked against a pre-defined criterion.
- Issue acknowledgement of receipt of documents to all senders.
- Assist with ensuring all document details are entered precisely on the office management document tracking software to enable accurate monitoring of the document processing status.
- Distribute the documents received to the relevant FSS team for further processing
- Assist in ensuring timely intimation of document collection to the intended recipients.
- Support in ensuring all queries related to FSS transactions raised on DCO are addressed in a timely manner.
Education/ Certification and Continued Education
- Graduate, preferably in Commerce
Years of Experience
- 1 to 2 years of office administration / document control experience
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and capable of carrying out tasks efficiently, methodically and accurately
- Ability to work under time pressure and highly organised
