Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Parts Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the parts department for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The role is responsible for managing inventory, ensuring parts availability, supervising parts staff, and supporting service operations to maintain high standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the parts department in line with dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Ensure availability of genuine Mercedes-Benz parts to support service and workshop requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and maintain accurate parts records in the system.
  • Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely supply of parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Manage parts ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution processes.
  • Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory and implement strategies to minimize stock losses.
  • Ensure compliance with Mercedes-Benz guidelines and dealership policies.
  • Supervise and guide parts advisors and store staff to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
  • Prepare reports on parts sales, inventory turnover, and department performance.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and safety procedures within the parts warehouse.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in automotive parts operations, preferably with Mercedes-Benz or other luxury brands.
  • Strong knowledge of Mercedes-Benz parts catalogues and dealership systems.
  • Experience in inventory management and parts ordering systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership.
  • Knowledge of automotive ERP / dealer management systems.
