Automotive Workshop Supervisor

Job Overview

Supervise and manage day-to-day workshop operations, lead, train, and support a team of technicians and mechanics. Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on complex vehicle issues, especially for German car brands.

• Accurately identify mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic tools.
• Ensure high-quality repair and maintenance services.
• Review job cards, estimates and repair orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain workshop productivity, efficiency and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding technical issues and repair timelines.
• Coordinate with parts department for timely availability of components.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and company policies.
• Monitor and improve workflow processes to maximize efficiency.

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in automotive repair, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills (mechanical and electrical systems).
• Proven experience working with German vehicles is mandatory.
• Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic equipment and software.
• Solid understanding of modern automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical systems).
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Technical certification or diploma in Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Experience with dealership or high-end automotive workshops.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations in automotive environments.
