Overview OfThe Role
We are looking for a results-driven and experienced Workshop Supervisor – Heavy Duty Trucks to lead our Aftersales Commercial Vehicle workshop operations in Dubai. This role is critical in driving workshop performance, ensuring high productivity, delivering “Fix It Right First Time” standards, and achieving Aftersales revenue targets. You will lead a team of technicians and ensure efficient day-to-day operations, with a strong focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and vehicle uptime.
WhatYou Will Do
- Lead and manage day-to-day workshop operations for heavy-duty trucks
- Drive workshop performance by maximizing productivity, efficiency, and sold hours
- Ensure adherence to “Fix It Right First Time” (FIR) processes and quality standards
- Plan and allocate workload effectively across technicians and workshop bays
- Monitor job progress and ensure on-time delivery of trucks to customers
- Drive Aftersales revenue through optimal utilization of labour and workshop capacity
- Oversee warranty repair processes and ensure compliance with OEM standards
- Manage tools, equipment, and workshop inventory to ensure operational readiness
- Lead, coach, and develop workshop teams to enhance technical capabilities and performance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational standards
- Strong leadership and people management skills within a workshop environment
- In-depth understanding of heavy-duty truck service and repair operations
- Strong commercial acumen with focus on productivity and revenue performance
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong understanding of workshop KPIs (utilization, productivity, efficiency, FIR)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
You will be part of the Aftersales team within the Commercial Vehicles division, working closely with Aftersales Managers, Service Advisors, and Technicians. The team is focused on delivering high-quality service, maximizing truck uptime, and driving strong customer satisfaction within a competitive heavy-duty truck market.
What Equips You ForThe Role
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience within automotive dealerships
- At least 5 years of experience in a workshop management or supervisory role
- Strong experience managing heavy-duty truck workshop operations
- Proven track record in driving workshop performance and team productivity
- Strong knowledge of dealership processes, KPIs, and operational standards
