Sourcing Manager – Commodities (Indian Market)
We are an commodities trading company looking to strengthen our presence in the Indian market
. We are currently seeking a Trader / Sourcing Manager to develop sourcing and trading activities in India.
- Source and develop relationships with producers, suppliers, and exporters in India
- Identify trading opportunities across various commodities (agricultural products, biofuels, feed stocks, industrial raw materials, etc.)
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with suppliers and counter parties
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply/demand dynamics
- Coordinate with internal trading, logistics, and operations teams
- Ensure compliance with trade, regulatory, and contractual requirements
- Fluency in English and Indian languages (Hindi required; additional regional languages are a strong plus)
- Strong knowledge of raw materials / commodities markets
- Proven experience in trading, sourcing, or procurement (commodities preferred)
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial mindset
- Ability to work independently and build a sourcing network from scratch
- Willingness to travel within India as required
