This pivotal role sits within our dynamic Government & Technology communications team, focusing on the critical intersection of public sector engagement and cutting‑edge technology. As an Associate Director, you will shape narratives, enhance the reputation of key clients operating across government entities and B2B enterprise technology space, and lead strategic initiatives, manage high‑stakes client relationships, and contribute significantly to the agency’s growth and reputation within this specialized sector.
Reporting directly to a Managing Director, your contributions will directly impact our clients’ success and our agency’s standing.
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive PR and communication strategies for government and B2B enterprise technology clients.
- Drive proactive media relations, identify strategic opportunities, and manage reactive inquiries effectively.
- Design and deliver advanced media training programs for client spokespeople.
- Develop and implement robust crisis communication plans and rapid response protocols for sensitive government‑related accounts.
- Cultivate and maintain exceptional client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
- Manage day‑to‑day account operations, ensuring seamless execution and superior client service.
- Contribute to new business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations, within the Government & Technology sector.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional development and ensuring team excellence.
- Extensive experience in PR and communications, with a significant background in agency environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in working with government clients and B2B enterprise technology communications experience.
- A comprehensive and varied communications skillset, including strong capabilities in media relations, content strategy, and crisis management.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering effective media training sessions for senior executives.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic is highly desirable.
- A strong interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and client relationship management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic agency setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
