Warehouse and Logistics Officer - Aviation

We are currently recruiting a Warehouse and Logistics Officer - Aviation for our client based in Dubai, UAE.

This role ensures efficient warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics coordination within an aircraft/engine maintenance environment. The position supports material flow, compliance, and timely availability of parts for maintenance and overhaul activities.

• Oversee inventory control processes, including FIFO/FEFO
  , cycle counting, and demand forecasting to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Monitor and maintain accurate stock records in ERP systems (IFS or similar).
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and traceability of all materials in compliance with airworthiness regulations and OEM guidelines.
• Conduct regular audits to identify expired items and publish inventory forecasts.

• Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with international and local regulations.
• Optimize transportation routes and coordinate with freight forwarders for cost‑effective solutions.
• Track shipments and maintain documentation for customs clearance and regulatory compliance.

• Supervise technical kitting for engine and module builds, ensuring accuracy and readiness based on original engine configuration.
• Verify parts for correct revision levels, conformity, and PMA compliance.
• Maintain certification paperwork and ensure SB/AD/MOD status compliance before releasing materials to production.

• Analyze KPIs and operational data to identify bottlenecks and improve warehouse efficiency.
• Prepare reports on inventory trends, logistics performance, and material readiness for management review.

• Lead warehouse improvement projects, including layout optimization and technology implementation.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Receiving, Production, In-house Repair) to ensure material readiness for operational needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics
  , Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  , or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations
  , must be in Aviation or MRO environments
  .
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles
  , logistics regulations
  , and airworthiness standards
  .
• Proficiency in ERP systems (
  IFS or similar) and data analysis tools.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
