Location:
Dubai, UAE Job Type: full-time. As a B2B Business Development Manager – Polished Diamonds, you will play a pivotal role in driving international growth for a premium polished diamonds trading business. Based in Dubai with regional responsibilities, this role focuses on expanding B2B relationships across key global markets including the Middle East, South Asia, Europe, and North America.
- Identify, pursue, and onboard B2B clients such as diamond retailers, jewelry manufacturers, and wholesale dealers across assigned regions.
- Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, managing negotiations, pricing discussions, and long-term partnerships.
- Own the complete sales cycle—from lead generation and client meetings to deal closure and post-sale engagement.
- Achieve assigned sales targets while maintaining a healthy pipeline and accurate CRM records.
- Track global diamond market trends, pricing movements, and competitor activity; share insights with leadership to support pricing strategies, inventory planning, and product positioning.
- Represent the organization at international diamond and jewelry exhibitions; build networks, generate leads, and follow up on opportunities created through trade events.
- Ensure all transactions adhere to industry regulations including ethical sourcing standards, KYC, AML, and Kimberley Process requirements; maintain accurate sales and shipping documentation.
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, finance, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and high client satisfaction.
- Experience:
8–10+ years of hands‑on B2B sales or business development experience within the polished or loose diamond industry, with a strong record of closing high‑value deals. - Industry Expertise:
In‑depth knowledge of diamond grading (4
Cs), certifications, global market dynamics, and ethical sourcing standards. - Global Exposure:
Experience working across international markets and major diamond hubs; comfort with frequent regional and international travel. - Commercial Acumen:
Strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build and scale key client accounts. - Communication
Skills:
Excellent English communication skills with confidence in client presentations and stakeholder management; additional languages are a plus. - Professional Mindset:
Highly organized, data‑driven, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, global B2B trading environment.
