We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating, with a focus on delivering accurate cost assessments and ensuring projects are completed within budget. The Estimator will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather data needed for accurate BOQ and tendering.

This role requires a thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs, as well as the ability to analyze and interpret project specifications and drawings. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed BOQs and participating in bid meetings.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for fitout projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.

Review project specifications and drawings to identify key requirements and potential cost implications.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for BOQ preparation.

Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather data for accurate estimating.

Analyze historical data and market trends to inform pricing strategies and cost projections.

Present estimates to stakeholders and participate in bid meetings to discuss project costs and strategies.

Monitor ongoing projects to identify any changes in scope and adjust project values accordingly.

Preferred Candidate

Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on commercial and F&B projects.

Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation.

Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Proficiency in estimating software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.

Strong AutoCAD skills.

A proactive and solution-oriented mindset that can adapt to changing project requirements.
