Estimator, Construction, Building & Residential Construction

The Estimator – Civil is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for building construction projects during the pre-contract and tendering stage. The role involves quantity take-offs, pricing analysis, subcontractor coordination, and supporting the bid submission process in line with company procedures and UAE market standards.

• To ensure that the received BOQ is as per POMI standard or not. If any clarification required, raising it to BOQ division.
• All correspondences and E-mails receiving from multiple departments, site team and to be replied/responded and co-operate them professionally.
• Allocate the Estimator to start pricing for our projects as per priority schedule.
• Ability to prepare cost Analyzing of materials, equipment’s, labor and other resources required for the Projects
• Receiving the project director request for site miscellaneous estimation request and will be done and forwarding to Estimation manager to finalize the same.
• Meeting with procurement department category managers and get the cost for all sub-contracting items and material price to price our tender/job in hand projects.
• Pricing the job in hand project and finalize the project value in CCS Candy software and discuss with Estimation manager to submit the final value of the project.
• Chasing and follow up the planning director and project director to get the staff and plant equipment requirement for all the project and incorporate the same into our price.
• Pricing site facilities and site requirements (Preliminaries) for all projects.
• Attending all internal management meeting with Deputy CEO to respond about estimation status.
• Keeping backup documents to substantiate the prepared bill of quantities if any concerned raised during the construction stage
• Co ordinating with Internal QS auditing team and providing them the quantity and cost related information.
• Maintain the rate data record in our Estimation drive.
• Supporting and sharing the experience with estimation department staff for all project pricing purpose.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively to multiple departments.
• Completing the TASK within the provided time.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
• 5–12 years’ UAE experience in building construction estimation.
• Strong pre-contract and tendering background.
• Good knowledge of UAE market rates.
• Strong CCS Candy experience.
