Key Responsibilities
- Supervise civil works related to underground cable installation and overhead transmission lines (OHL).
- Monitor activities such as excavation, trenching, back filling, duct installation, cable laying, jointing bays, and route restoration.
- Oversee foundation works for transmission towers, including excavation, concreting, and back filling.
- Ensure proper alignment, levels, and positioning of towers and cable routes as per approved drawings.
- Coordinate with electrical teams for cable pulling, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Supervise stringing activities for OHL, including tower erection, conductor stringing, and sagging.
- Ensure compliance with approved method statements, drawings, and project specifications.
- Monitor subcontractors, labor, and equipment at site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality of workmanship.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
- Prepare daily progress reports, site logs, and documentation.
- Assist in quantity measurements, BOQ verification, and billing support.
- Identify and resolve site issues and report progress to project management.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transmission line projects (132 kV / 400 kV).
- UAE Driving License is mandatory.
