Quantity Surveyor
Location:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially driven Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs and ensure financial efficiency across construction projects. This role involves cost estimation, contract administration, and financial control to ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities Cost Planning & Estimation- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for projects.
- Develop cost plans aligned with project scope and timelines.
- Provide accurate forecasting and cost advice during project planning.
- Manage contracts, including preparation, review, and execution.
- Administer variations, claims, and contractual changes.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Support tendering processes, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Track expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost statements.
- Implement value engineering to optimize project costs.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for sourcing materials and services.
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with vendors.
- Ensure timely procurement aligned with project schedules.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and consultants.
- Provide regular updates on project financial status and risks.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting throughout project lifecycle.
- Support project teams in achieving financial and operational targets.
- Identify financial and contractual risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local construction regulations and standards.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and project reviews.
- Support dispute resolution and claims management processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in quantity surveying within construction or real estate development.
- Strong experience in cost management, contracts, and procurement.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and industry standards is preferred.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of construction costs and contracts.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office.
