A Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Minimum 5‑7 years of experience in construction supervision with a consultancy.
Business Development:
Starting to develop network of contacts; be an ambassador for the Company.
- Reading and understanding the package contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures.
- Ensuring the contractor(s) comply with the standards and specifications of the contract documents through observation, measurements, and testing as well as tracking quality assurance progress.
- Maintaining records of the contractor manpower and equipment daily resources.
- Undertaking all site supervision and inspections when required or instructed by the Senior Site Engineer.
- Documenting contractor activities within assigned areas, including personnel, equipment, work locations, reasons for work, and the methods used.
- Reporting material deliveries and following all site instructions issued by the team leader.
- Implementing all site quality control measures and procedures.
- Applying and implementing all quality controls and quality procedures of the site.
- Preparing any site measurements and surveying checks needed by the leader.
- Monitoring construction work for compliance with quality standards, performance expectations, and applicable codes through regular inspections.
- Overseeing Health and Safety of the construction works and reporting on violations.
- Have an understanding of our Business plan, mission statement and key challenges.
- Contribute to the development of company procedures by taking an active role in task groups.
- Attend team meetings and play an active role in the development of procedures within your team.
- Review and comment on company procedures using the feedback system.
- Applying policies relating to health & safety, quality and training.
- Understand, implement and follow QHSE policies.
- Implement and coordinate QHSE procedures in your workplace.
- Comply with local regulatory authority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
- Report any QHSE incidents immediately to QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
- Abide Client/Contractor QHSE requirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
