Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site activities for interior fit-out projects.
• Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workers.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project progress and update management regularly.
• Plan and schedule site activities to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure proper manpower allocation and productivity at the site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify issues or delays.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for approvals and inspections.
• Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and management.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, MEP, and estimation departments.
• Ensure all materials are available as per project schedule.
• Prepare work programs and project schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for timely delivery and execution.
• Ensure all required permits and approvals are obtained before work starts.
• Ensure site safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain project documentation and site records.
• Monitor project costs and material usage.
• Reduce wastage and improve site efficiency.
• Track subcontractor progress and billing.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with a strong technical foundation, demonstrating a commitment to quality education.
• Minimum 4–8 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out projects in the UAE/GCC.
• Experience in commercial, residential, retail, office, or hospitality fit-out projects.
• UAE driving license preferred.
