Construction Manager - Civil

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire construction process ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget by coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings translating them into actionable plans for the construction team.
• Manage site operations and enforce safety regulations to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work and compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare and manage project budgets including cost estimates, procurement of materials and tracking expenditure throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with architects, engineers and subcontractors to resolve any issues that arise during the construction process promptly and efficiently.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members, clients and stakeholders ensuring alignment and clarity of project goals.
• Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks and milestones for senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations including obtaining necessary permits and licenses before construction begins.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience in civil construction, preferably in villas & high-rise buildings.
• Experience in managing large-scale construction projects, showcasing the ability to handle complexity and scale.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations specific to the region or country of work.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, enabling quick resolution of issues that arise on‑site.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of construction professionals.
