Construction Director

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective strategies while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Implement safety protocols and compliance measures, ensuring a zero-accident work environment across all sites.
• Lead and mentor project managers and construction teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes to secure the best resources and services for each project.
• Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management, highlighting achievements and addressing potential risks.
• Drive innovation in construction methodologies and technologies, seeking opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in construction management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successfully managing high-rise buildings, shopping malls, villas, hotels, hospitals, airports from conception to completion.
• Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards to ensure full compliance.
• Exceptional leadership abilities with a knack for inspiring teams and driving performance under pressure.
