Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in building and villa construction projects in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, cost estimation, tender preparation, project cost control, valuation of works, and contract administration. Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices and proficiency in Plan Swift are essential.

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and material quantifications from drawings and specifications using Plan Swift.
• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for villa and building projects.
• Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare comparison reports.
• Assist in tender submissions and bid evaluations.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare monthly valuations, progress claims, and payment certificates.
• Evaluate variations, change orders, and additional works.
• Prepare and negotiate subcontract agreements.
• Conduct site visits for measurements, verification, and progress assessments.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients regarding commercial matters.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and project specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of quantities, costs, contracts, and project documentation.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of total Quantity Surveying experience.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in building and villa construction projects.
• Proven experience in estimation, quantity take-offs, and cost control.

• Mandatory:
  Proficiency in Plan Swift.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and measurement standards.
• Good understanding of UAE construction methods and local market rates.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and UAE construction regulations is an advantage.
