Role Overview:
The Resident Engineer will act as the on-site representative of the consultant, responsible for supervising all construction activities and ensuring compliance with approved designs, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Monitor daily site operations and proactively resolve issues related to design, materials, or execution.
- Oversee and guide contractors, site engineers, and construction teams to ensure efficient and high-quality work delivery.
- Inspect materials and construction methods to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, including progress reports, site records, and technical evaluations.
- Coordinate and manage maintenance activities for systems, turbines, generators, and associated equipment.
- Assist in planning and executing preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Identify gaps and recommend improvements in construction processes, resource utilization, and execution strategies.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth coordination of schedules and project requirements.
- Provide timely technical support and respond to client queries throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations at the site.
- Participate in performance evaluation and assessment of engineering and site personnel.
- Handle high-rise project complexities, ensuring safe and compliant vertical construction practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in construction supervision, including at least 5 years on high-rise building projects.
- Proven experience in managing site activities, contractor coordination, and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Alternate Saturdays Off
- Sundays Fixed Off
