Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities related to civil works including structural, masonry, plastering, finishing and external works.
- Allocate work to skilled and unskilled labor and ensure optimum utilisation of manpower and resources.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, method statements and work schedules.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor work progress and report daily activities, productivity and site issues to the Site Engineer or Project Engineer.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and other trades to ensure smooth execution of work.
- Verify site measurements and ensure proper setting out before commencement of activities.
- Monitor material requirements and coordinate with the store and procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and tools.
- Inspect workmanship and identify defects or non‑conformities, ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and assist in achieving construction milestones.
- Enforce health, safety and environmental regulations on site and ensure workers use the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct toolbox talks and maintain discipline among the workforce.
- Coordinate site inspections with consultants, clients and relevant authorities when required.
- Maintain records of manpower attendance, daily progress, material consumption and equipment usage.
- Resolve day‑to‑day site issues and elevate critical matters to the concerned engineer or project management team.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience as a Civil Foreman in building construction projects.
- Proven experience in supervising structural works and finishing activities.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site execution.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience managing large teams of workers and subcontractors.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of quality standards and health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- UAE experience in high‑rise residential, commercial or villa projects is an advantage.
- Experience working on projects involving Dubai Municipality requirements and inspections.
- Basic knowledge of material estimation and productivity planning.
- Leadership and team management.

- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
