What You’ll Do
Measurement & Quantity Take‑Off – Prepare accurate quantity take‑offs from drawings, BIM models, specifications and site information. Develop and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for tendering, procurement and project execution. Verify quantities and scope with design engineering and project teams.
Commercial Support – Assist in preparing cost estimates, tender submissions and pricing exercises. Measure and evaluate variations and changes to the works. Support interim valuations, subcontractor assessments and final account preparation. Maintain accurate measurement records and commercial documentation.
Cost Control & Reporting – Monitor package costs and support forecasting activities. Assist in the management of subcontractor accounts and back‑charge administration. Ensure compliance with commercial procedures and reporting requirements.
Collaboration – Liaise with project procurement, engineering and commercial teams to ensure accurate cost and quantity information. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the commercial function.
What We Need From You- Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience within construction, civil, or infrastructure projects. Strong experience in quantity take‑offs, BOQ preparation, valuations, and cost control. Experience working with BIM‑based measurement tools and digital quantity surveying platforms is highly desirable. - Technical
Skills:
Proficient in BIM take‑off software, CAD Measure, Plan Swift, and BOQ preparation. Good understanding of construction methods, contracts, and measurement standards. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. - Preferred Experience:
Experience supporting building, civil, infrastructure, or marine projects. Ability to work across multiple project types and support both project and technical engineering teams. - Key Requirements:
Strong measurement and quantification experience. Hands‑on experience with BIM take‑off software, CAD Measure, and Plan Swift. Detailed BOQ drafting capability. Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced project environment.
