A leading construction company in Dubai, UAE, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Civil with strong expertise in high-rise building and villa construction projects. This senior-level engineering opportunity is suitable for Civil Engineering professionals with 8–10 years of experience in building construction, mandatory GCC construction experience, and a proven track record working with main contractors.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and supervising civil construction activities across high-rise buildings and villa developments. The role requires extensive hands‑on expertise in site execution, project coordination, construction management, IFC and shop drawing reviews, structural, architectural, and MEP coordination, quality control, HSE compliance, project documentation, BOQs, site quantities, manpower, and materials management.

• Manage and supervise civil construction activities for high-rise building and villa construction projects.
• Oversee site execution to ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Coordinate structural, architectural, and MEP works to support efficient multidisciplinary project execution.
• Review Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and shop drawings for accuracy and constructability.
• Monitor daily site activities and overall project progress against approved schedules.
• Prepare accurate daily and weekly site progress reports.
• Identify and resolve technical issues arising during project execution.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, HSE requirements, and relevant authority regulations.
• Manage and maintain essential project documentation and construction records.
• Review and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and site quantities.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and other site resources.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure construction activities meet required technical and quality standards.
• Support timely project completion through effective planning, coordination, and problem-solving.
• Maintain effective communication between site teams, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, including
  
  B.Tech, B.E., or a higher relevant qualification.
• Diploma holders are not eligible for this position.
• 8–10 years of professional experience in civil engineering and building construction.
• Previous GCC construction experience is mandatory.
• Proven professional experience working with main contractors.
• Hands‑on experience delivering projects involving approximately 20–50 villas.
• Hands‑on experience with high‑rise building projects of approximately 20–30 storeys.
• Strong knowledge of high‑rise building and villa construction methods.
• Strong expertise in reviewing and interpreting IFC and shop drawings.
• Practical knowledge of structural, architectural, and MEP coordination.
• Experience in site execution and construction management.
• Knowledge of quality standards, HSE compliance, and applicable authority regulations.
• Experience managing project documentation, BOQs, site quantities, manpower, and materials.
• Excellent planning, coordination, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
