Key Responsibilities – Video Editing, AI Content Creation & Post-Production

• Edit, enhance and assemble video content across a range of platforms, aligning with brand guidelines and audience needs.
• Utilise AI video tools (such as generative AI and automation platforms) to streamline workflows, add value and maximise creative output.
• Adapt and repurpose raw footage, stock assets and user-generated material into impactful short- and long-form videos.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to plan, storyboard and deliver video projects that drive engagement and communicate key messages.
• Maintain efficient post-production pipelines, from file management to versioning and export in multiple formats.

Essential Video Editing Skills – AI Integration, Creative Storytelling & Content Optimisation

• Demonstrate proficiency in professional video editing suites (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Apply advanced editing techniques including transitions, audio synchronisation, sound effects, colour grading and motion graphics.
• Embrace AI technologies for tasks such as auto-captioning, smart cutting, voice overs, and quality enhancement.
• Optimise video content for target platforms, considering SEO best practice and social media requirements for reach and discoverability.

Technical Knowledge – Digital Media, Formats & Content Trends

• Solid understanding of current video trends, platform algorithms and viewer preferences, with the ability to adapt concepts swiftly.
• Manage media assets to ensure consistency, security and version control across projects.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI-powered video editing and recommend opportunities for tool adoption or process improvements.

Communication, Collaboration & Cross-Functional Teamwork

• Work in close partnership with graphics, marketing, and technical teams to deliver cohesive multimedia outputs.
• Translate feedback from stakeholders into actionable edits, demonstrating flexibility and resilience under tight deadlines.
• Present creative ideas clearly in meetings and proactively contribute to the evolution of our content strategy.

Problem Solving & Project Ownership in Video Production

• Identify and resolve challenges in the editing process, from technical issues to creative blocks, ensuring the highest content quality.
• Take responsibility for project timelines, deliverables and post-live support or optimisation as required.
• Continually seek out process improvements, drawing on AI technologies and feedback from analytics to inform future projects.

Qualifications & Experience – AI-Driven Video Editing & Digital Media Creation

• Experience in video editing, content creation or multimedia production, ideally within digital marketing, media or a related environment.
• Knowledge of AI video tools (e.g. Runway, Descript, Canva, Adobe AI Suite, or similar) and willingness to adopt new technologies.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of edited video work integrating AI elements is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant qualifications (such as in Digital Media, Film Production or similar) are beneficial but not essential if balanced by demonstrable skills and creative output.
