Head of Womenswear Design – Relocation to Dubai

, we are currently seeking, on behalf of one of our clients — an international brand with a new HQ in Dubai — a Head of Design to join their team.
The Head of Design leads the creative vision, seasonal collections, and brand identity for the launch in Madrid. This role transforms global trends into commercially relevant collections across different categories
, while building and developing a high‑performing design team.
- Define and oversee the brand’s creative and aesthetic direction and its collections.
- Develop the seasonal framework in collaboration with Buying and Merchandising, integrating trends, sales insights, and market needs.
- Lead trend research (market visits, competitor analysis, trade shows, digital sources).
- Create seasonal concepts, color palettes, mood boards, silhouettes, and styles.
- Manage and guide the design team (senior, mid‑level, and junior designers).
- Ensure brand style consistency across all categories.
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to ensure feasibility and commercial objectives.
- Lead creative meetings and collection reviews, clearly communicating design direction.
- Develop and motivate the team through coaching and feedback.
- Oversee collection execution, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and brand consistency are met.
- Degree or Master’s in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Ideally, experience with Fast Fashion products.
- 10–12 years of experience in fashion design, with at least 3–4 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience across multiple product categories.
- Proven collaboration with international sourcing and production teams.
- Deep understanding of global trends, consumer expectations, and the fast‑fashion market.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel (for market research, fabric sourcing, and team coordination).
