Editorial Assistant, AD Middle East
Architectural Digest is looking for an intelligent, creative and organised editorial assistant to join its growing team at AD Middle East, working across print and digital platforms. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about design, architecture and style, and be able to write, report and research as well as support the team leads.
Responsibilities- Work with top editors on print:
Write clever captions, headlines and sells; conduct and transcribe interviews; conduct research; help organise/print scouting photos; pitch ideas and reach out to industry contacts; create story fact sheets; manage contact lists; and more - Work with top editors on digital:
Write, pitch, report and research profiles and features to reach key AD audiences.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience with a design/lifestyle brand or media publisher.
- Impeccable editorial judgement, writing, and ability to capture AD’s voice to reach new and established audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and quickly, and remain organised and efficient in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A passion for the design category and a knowledge of its key players.
- Photoshop/video editing skills a plus
