Social Media Specialist; Freelancer

The Freelance Social Media Specialist is responsible for strategizing, creating/producing, and publishing social media content, managing community management and influencer campaigns for the Grandiose.

This includes in-store and event content shooting, editing and daily posting in alignment with the social media calendar. The candidate should have a fast turnaround of content and the ability to manage all social media channels in a high-paced, retail environment.

• The content should align with the Grandiose Brand guidelines while being in line with current trends and social media algorithms.
• Edit content using Cap Cut and Canva with rapid turnaround timelines.
• Manage content and produce high-quality video and static content using an iPhone (camera experience is a plus).

• Manage daily posting across all channels.
• Build and maintain a content calendar aligned with trade calendar and events.
• Monitor accounts, community management (including Google reviews), and track performance insights.

• Collaborate with the Creative team and Marketing department on large production content needs.

• 2–4 years of experience in social media content creation (F&B or Luxury Retail experience is an advantage).
• Flexible to work in office and event site.
• Frequent on‑ground presence at event locations across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

• Strong proficiency in shooting and editing content using iPhone.
• Proficient in Cap Cut and Canva for editing (mandatory).
• Basic knowledge of camera usage is a plus.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment.
• Agile, responsive, and able to manage last‑minute requests.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and storytelling skills.
• well organized in work with strong time‑management skills.
• Proactive, problem‑solver, and able to work independently.

• Must own a personal iPhone with good camera capabilities.
• Having own personal equipment (gimbal, tripod) will be an advantage.
