About the Role
Onsite Event Coordinator responsible for day‑of execution of Visit org's social impact team‑building events.
Responsibilities- Join virtual planning meetings with corporate partners, nonprofit partners, event hosts, and internal teams.
- Take ownership of in‑person events: set up, align onsite staff, tear down, and clean site areas.
- Manage check‑in processes and welcome guests.
- Problem‑solve issues such as missing supplies, staff delays, and technology challenges.
- Escalate issues to the Events Team and provide consistent updates, photos, and videos.
- Assist with post‑event breakdown, including cleanup, repackaging, shipping materials, and labeling.
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
- Schedule flexibility and availability for contract‑based event assignments, including nights and weekends.
- Experience executing complex large‑scale events and intimate executive‑level events.
- Proven ability to raise content and customer experience standards.
- Resourceful, solutions‑oriented, quick thinker under pressure.
- Self‑starter who is organized and detail‑oriented.
- Strong customer‑service focus and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience with group facilitation and managing group dynamics.
- Willingness to travel within the local region.
- Comfort interacting with large crowds and wearing many hats.
Able to lift, slide, and carry up to 30 lbs; able to stand for an extended period of time.
