Job Overview
The Flight Dispatch Key Account Executive has a dual function: act as a key account executive and liaison with customer and internal departments. The primary role is to report through to the Director of Ground Operations and, on matters concerning Flight Dispatch, to report to the Director of Flight Operations.
Responsibilities- Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant departments in the company, requiring a high degree of customer service and timely response by phone and email.
- Responsibility and accountability for assigned accounts and provide day‑to‑day support by handling customer inquiries and issues.
- Coordinate flight requests from the owner and liaise with OCC, Crew Planning, and Maintenance.
- Coordinate maintenance schedule with the owner.
- Coordinate with the Finance department on invoicing.
- Proactively communicate with internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Problem‑solving: initiate and resolve issues with little direction.
- Establish and maintain successful customer service relationships.
- Assist with charter sales enquiries and setting up of flights.
- Manage all customer requests on early and late shifts and weekends; coordinate all handling activities including 3rd‑party services through the German Operations Control Center.
- Dispatch all DCAF‑managed aircrafts according to the UAE GCAA CAR OPS duties outlined in CAR‑OPS 1080.
- Allocate all Ground Operations tasks and coordinate all resources through the German Operations Control Centre.
- Ensure maximum consideration is given to customer service standards at all times.
- Collate, distribute, and prepare crew briefings according to the GCAA Dispatch checklist.
- Distribute various reports to relevant departments as and when required.
- Deal with all client problems on an ongoing basis.
- Monitor flight progress and flight watch.
- Organise all required support for aircraft and crew members through Crew Services and OCC.
- Prepare briefing packages according to general legal and company requirements in advance of the schedule through the Operations Control Center.
- Maintain the loop of information with crew scheduling, license control, sales, marketing and crew members about any changes in aircraft schedule.
- Consider downgraded aircraft equipment and apply the Minimum Equipment List for the briefing package.
- High School Certificate.
- Valid unrestricted UAE driver’s license (essential).
- Previous experience within aviation in a similar role (essential).
- VIP experience desirable.
- Valid UAE GCAA Dispatcher License.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Detail‑oriented and methodical approach to solving and performing tasks.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Pride in performing to the best of own ability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make decisions on limited information and analysis.
- Ability to quickly process multi‑level problems simultaneously.
- Ability to manage constantly changing plans and priorities.
- Ability to manage multiple information sources and demands under pressure.
