We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Consultant NICU to join our client's team and work in one of the most dynamic and fast-growing cities in the world – Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neonatal intensive care and a desire to make a real impact in the lives of newborns and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized care for critically ill or premature newborns in the NICU, from admission to discharge.
  • Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests, and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
  • Monitor infants closely, identify any changes in their condition, and respond accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care.
  • Educate parents on neonatal care, feeding techniques, and infant development.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records of patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in neonatal care and apply new techniques and treatments when appropriate.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow safety protocols.
  • Train and supervise junior medical staff and support the professional development of colleagues.
Requirements
  • Medical degree and board certification in neonatal intensive care or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Consultant NICU in a reputable healthcare facility.
  • Western-trained education or experience required.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Passion for providing high-quality care to newborns and their families.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
