This role offers a unique opportunity to provide essential dental implant services to a diverse patient population within the public health sector. Your main responsibilities will include evaluating patients for implant eligibility, executing surgical implants, and providing post-operative care, ensuring that all patients receive the highest level of care and compassion. You will play a vital role in improving patients' dental health and quality of life, while also adhering to the standards and regulations set forth by the government healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' dental and medical histories to determine appropriate treatment options.
- Design and administer individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
- Perform surgical placements of dental implants and manage all associated procedures.
- Provide comprehensive post-operative care, including pain management and follow-up appointments.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure integrated patient care.
- Educate patients on the benefits of dental implants and proper post-operative care practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with government regulations and facility protocols.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution.
- Specialization in Implantology with certification from a recognized dental board.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in implantology, preferably within a government healthcare setting.
- Strong surgical skills and a thorough understanding of advanced implant techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, complying with all regulatory requirements.
- Valid state dental license and current malpractice insurance.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in implant dentistry.
- Doctorate of dental surgery or dental medicine.
- State license and malpractice insurance.
- Additional experience, certifications, or licensing may be required.
- Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications.
- Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and health care.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to keep detailed records.
- Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics.
- Good management skills.
