Aviation Architect

Overview

Connect Energy partners with one of the established consultancy firm in Singapore. Currently URGENTLY looking for a qualified Architect to join their esteem company in Dubai / Abu Dhabi.

• To manage a team of Architects and designers
• To guide the team to make sure the projects are completed on time and within budget
• Coordinate with clients to work out the design requirements.
• To communicate with contractors about construction progress and potential problems that may arise during building process
• Review architectural plans for compliance with local building codes and regulations
• Identify ways to improve design of structure based on environmental factors such as light and wind exposure
• Meeting with contractors to discuss construction details such as materials to be used and scheduling issues
• Creating diagrams, renderings and other visual representations of architectural designs
• Plan, develop and implement designs for buildings or structures
• Compile feasibility reports, determine environment impact
• Create project proposals that include timelines and estimated cost for projects
• Meet with clients to assess their needs and requirements and present design projects from concept to development to completion
• Develop and pitch project proposals and adjust designs and plans according to clients needs and request
• Prepare drawings, blueprint, specifications, and construction documents and conduct research, compiling reports on feasibility studies and environmental impacts.
• Design to comply with safety standards and local planning regulations and determine and adhere to budget timelines.
• Manage project teams and collaborate with other construction professionals
• Responsible for public safety while they oversee the project when a building is completed, architect remain involved as they evolve to help incorporate new surroundings and ideas.

• Degree in Architectural
• IATA Certificate is preferred for airport project
• Min 10 years relevant experience for Senior Architect role, min 15 years experience for Principal Architect role
• MUST have experience in MASTER PLANNING in aviation industry.
• Some experience in project management or business development will be ideal.
• Good in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook)
