Senior FF&E Designer

Principal Consultant @ White Space | Architecture + Design Specialist (UAE)

A leading ultra high end design practice is looking to add to their FF&E division. This is a company that has grown at an amazing recent 12 months and looking to continue this. They are known for their residential projects and already have a well known name in the sector.

As the Senior FF&E Designer, you will need in-depth knowledge of materials, FF&E brands and innovative product design, as well as the ability to apply these in order to elevate their design vision.

• Working alongside the Head of FF&E as a team of 5 FF&E Designers.
• Overseeing FF&E process from inception to completion, including managing the FF&E team and ensuring impeccable quality and adherence to timelines.
• Selection of high-end FF&E (sanitaryware, ironmongery, furniture, fabrics, lighting, artwork, accessories, OS&E).
• Collaborating closely with the Creative Director and Senior Design team during the design phase.
• Management of the installation phase with the FF&E team, including dressing and styling.
• Reviewing FF&E documentation e.g. specifications/BOQ’s, schedules, presentations.
• Working with furniture designer to review shop drawings, sample and mock-ups for custom furniture pieces.
• Collaborating with Procurement Manager for design input required during Procurement phase.

• Extensive experience in the high‑end residential design industry, demonstrating a portfolio of successful projects.
• Proven ability to conceive and implement original FF&E and material selections, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of luxury brands, artisanal materials and the latest trends and suppliers.
• Solid experience in team management, with the ability to effectively communicate and present FF&E and material selections.
• Strong leadership skills, capable of inspiring and directing a team towards achieving project goals.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to ensure smooth project workflow.
• Proficiency in In‑design and Photoshop for creating visually stunning design presentations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup to check furniture layouts and dimensions (expert level not required).
