The FF&E Designer will be responsible for leading all aspects of Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) design and implementation across projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong creative vision, deep knowledge of materials and finishes, excellent vendor management skills, and proven experience in the fit‑out sector.

This role involves working closely with clients, interior designers, project managers, and procurement teams to ensure all FF&E elements are aligned with the project’s design intent, timeline, and budget.

• Lead and manage the FF&E design process - from concept ideation to procurement and on‑site installation.
• Develop mood boards, material palettes, and presentation boards that reflect design intent and brand identity.
• Source, specify, and coordinate all furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting, artwork, and decorative accessories.
• Collaborate with design and fit‑out teams to ensure design coordination and technical compatibility of FF&E elements.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers for best pricing and lead times.
• Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, budgets, and specifications aligned with project requirements.
• Review and approve shop drawings, prototypes, and material submittals to maintain design integrity.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, finish, and installation accuracy.
• Manage value engineering exercises without compromising design aesthetics.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior designers and assist with team development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in interior design, with a minimum of 5 years in the UAE fit‑out industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing completed FF&E projects in hospitality, residential, or commercial interiors.
• In‑depth understanding of materials, finishes, joinery, and custom furniture production.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop, InDesign, and MS Office.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

• Experience working with Fit‑out.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of regional and international suppliers and material trends.
• Ability to translate conceptual designs into practical, buildable solutions.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of design aesthetics and color balance.
• A proactive, collaborative, and solution‑driven approach.
