We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Designer to develop and review technical drawings, and oversee the design execution of luxury retail projects. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership capabilities with a technical background in architecture or design and be proficient in 3D/2D software. Must be able to lead design creatively, propose customer-centric solutions, elevate design and details.

• Concept Development & Sketches
  • Lead the creation and deployment of new concept development guidelines.
  • Prepare quick intention sketches ahead of 3D modeling stages.
  • Share sketches proactively with PMs for feedback.
  • Explore references, materials, and trends to elevate design quality.
• Leadership & Team Supervision
  • Review all Technical Drawings (TDs) prior to submission.
  • Assign and supervise dedicated designers per PM to streamline execution.
  • Own 3D furniture and material research.
  • Lead project reviews to ensure design consistency and feasibility.
  • Monitor and report designer workload and schedule
• Drafting & Design Oversight
  • Create or review 2D and 3D technical drawings using 3DS Max, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or similar tools.
  • Ensure technical documentation, including blueprints and schematics, meets all standards.
  • Define dimensions, materials, and build specifications.
• Technical Drawings & Inspections
  • Supervise updates to block libraries, templates, and guidelines.
  • Validate inspection results to ensure alignment with the design intent.
  • Lead checklist creation for drawing and inspection consistency.
• Workflow Coordination & Approvals
  • Serve as the first line of QA for TDs before escalating to PMs.
  • Ensure designers follow up on changes, updates, and standards.
  • Review and validate material choices and technical submissions.
• Communication & Documentation
  • Liaise with PMs, suppliers, and vendors to align on project requirements.
  • Represent the design team in cross-functional meetings.
  • Maintain organized documentation of all design and technical updates.
  • Support contractors with site execution feedback when necessary.

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Advanced proficiency in 3DS Max, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or similar.
• Solid knowledge of construction and design principles.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpretation of blueprints and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Technical Drawing, or related field.
• Experience in luxury retail, preferably within perfumes or beauty.
• Proficiency in software such as 3DS Max, CAD, and Sketch Up.
• Understanding of fabrication methods and material specifications.
