Design Director

To lead and manage the overall design strategy and execution for architectural and interior projects. The Design Director is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end design process—from concept development through to project handover—ensuring seamless coordination across architectural, interior, Landscape, HVAC, electrical, and structural disciplines.

• Develop and lead the organization’s long-term design strategy across architectural, interior, and engineering disciplines.
• Oversee the complete design lifecycle—from concept through to handover—ensuring cohesive integration of architectural, interior, landscape, HVAC, electrical, and structural systems while meeting cost, quality, schedule, and risk objectives.
• Provide expert direction on interior design development, space planning, material selection, and finishes.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the design function, driving continuous improvement, innovation, and design excellence across all disciplines.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, proactively addressing critical issues to keep programs on schedule and within budget.
• Promote a culture of quality, sustainability, and innovation by staying current with design trends, materials, technologies (e.g., BIM), and best practices in architecture and interior design.
• Guide and mentor the design team across disciplines, fostering collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.
• Manage third-party consultants, suppliers, and vendors to ensure quality, timeliness, and design integrity across all aspects of the project.
